Important Application Note
ER5356 is not recommended for continuous high-temperature service >150° F. For components exposed to sustained heat—such as coolant tanks, intercooler tanks, heat exchangers, or exhaust-adjacent parts—we recommend silicon-based fillers like ER4043 or ER4943 for improved thermal stability.
